We briefly review the concept of sparsity and its relation Compressed Sensing, the new sampling theory,
which is certainly one of the most important discovery in data processing during the last ten years.
We show how sparsity helps us to regularize several inverse problems that occurs in different astronomical
project such as PLANCK or EUCLID.
